Grafton Engineering was formed in 1990 by Harry Stalker, after gaining approximately twenty three years experience in combustion and thermal energy control equipment. His previous employment was with Saacke Ltd (industrial gas, oil and coal burner equipment manufacturer) where he was Service Manager for ten years prior to resigning in order to launch this company.
We specialise in supply, commissioning, service and upgrading of Industrial and Commercial Burner Systems and associated controls and energy conservation equipment of all kinds. We can also look after domestic boilers in the commercial environment.
In addition the company carries out repairs, annual inspections and NDT preparation for insurance purposes to steam and hot water boilers.
We are approved contractors to many well known companies, including MOD, Princes Foods, Spire Hospital and many NHS Trust Hospitals, holding service contracts, and providing an emergency call system for out of hours emergencies as well as more routine breakdown repairs.
We carry out commissioning works for boiler manufacturers, where we are required to act as their personnel on site.
At present we are involved in upgrading works to many existing burner systems, using microprocessor burner management and control systems.
The company is GAS SAFE registered in respect of gas work, and all staff have current ACS certificates with respect to industrial and commercial burner systems, having undergone the required training and assessment.
Grafton Engineering is Construction Line Accredited No. 75002.
We do not advertise at all. The majority of Grafton's workload is from repeat business from clients who's working relationship has been developed over many years. The remainder is from recommendations.
